League Description

Eastern Iowa PBL IMPORTANT DATES:

• Dates of Play: March 8 – May 4, 2025
• Registration Deadline: February 23, 2025
• Field Availability Dates/Times Due: March 2, 2025
• Coaches Meeting: TBD

NUMBER OF GAMES: 12-14 games (weather depending)

Weather Alternative: Live ABs for batters/hitters at Rivers Edge, Independence, IA

LEAGUE FEE: $2500 per team + applicable tax + online processing fee

INCLUDES:

• League fees
• Game baseballs
• Field rentals
• Schedule
• League reschedules/weather
• Umpire scheduling
• Umpire Fees

UMPIRE FEES: New to 2025, PBL will pay all umpire fees. Teams no longer will have to pay umpires at the start of each game.

LEAGUE FIELD USAGE: The PBL will pay out $75 per game that is played at your field. This is a great way to offset the costs of the league for teams.

LEAGUE SETUP: We will have 3 separate divisions (Varsity, JV/Sophomore, and Freshman) divisions within our league this year. We will do our best to match up teams according to school size and talent level. This league is flexible so if we need to make separate divisions in our league (upper level and lower level) we can do that. We will take a look at the teams signed up as they register and make a decision on what we are going to do with divisions.
